Gah! Here is who I love: Junebug Weddings. Junebug is a fantastic source for brides. They highlight great photographers all over the world and are helping to raise the bar for wedding photography by distilling down the best of the best. They make it easy for brides to know the potential that is out there for capturing beauty, humor, and everything else that makes weddings wonderful via their Photobug Blog. Today they are featuring phenomenal silhouette images and chose as one my image of Susan and Kirby. It is one of my favorites images as well, because Susan’s fingers still fanned out in girlish delight even as she went in for perhaps the hundredth kiss with her beau. Happiness!

Kyle and Maddie make my heart glad. They are both so overtly delighted in having the other. She knows he will love her all her days and he knows she is almost too good to be true. The ease of love that flowed between Kyle and Maddie made my job a breeze. They know how to love one another well and public affection at the local coffee shop was no problem. Maddie has a sincere love for all things Waco. As such, we hit up the uber fabulous Common Grounds – a hallowed place for all quality locals – as well as the classic suspension bridge, taking a different angle than usual. I adore all the color from this session as well as the fact that Maddie is a native Chicagoan (like myself) and sported her Cubs tee with pride. I am so looking forward to their November wedding. Congrats you two!

Rosie and Matthias were married at our local church here in Waco. Choosing simplicity in their adornments so as to allow for a full guest list, Rosie and Matthias were surround by a great multitude of dear friends and family on their wedding day. The excitement of the guests for this marriage was palpable and the energy level so high I feared it might carry me away. The worship service during the ceremony was joyful beyond measure. I found myself overcome with gratefulness at witnessing a wedding such as Matthias and Rosie’s.

Count them. Nine bridesmaids. Nine.
