Dan & Katie were married at Christ Chapel in Fort Worth, TX. Their reception followed at the Fort Worth Zoo. Katie and the whole wedding party were a joy to work with. There were a few stressful moments before the ceremony and everyone just kept smiling and cheering on the bride and groom.

Dan and Katie chose to see each other before the wedding. It was so sweet and we got so many wonderful pictures of them together! Not only that, but we took all of the family portraits prior to the wedding. It was so, so refreshing for everyone to just head out the door after the ceremony. A great first gift to everyone from the newlyweds!

Isn’t Katie stunnning?!

Katie is an only child and she and her family seemed so close and comfortable with one another. Anytime it was just me with Katie and her dad I felt so honored to be there capturing the moments between the two of them.

Dan got choked up when Katie walked down the aisle, even thought he had already seen her. They truly got the best of both worlds – lots of great pictures together and the big moment down the aisle. I also noticed that Dan was really present the entire day. He seemed to revel in each part of the wedding day.

The centerpieces were modern art.

Dan and Katie waited in a back room while guests arrived to the reception. They were able to peek out this window and see who was arriving.

Animals at the Zoo? Indeed.

Th Fort Worth Zoo also has this incredible little train that I could not resist.
