Details, details. We waited until the very last minute to take Lindsay’s bridals as her veil took rather a while to arrive. I love, love, love this style of veil. You are beautiful Lindsay!

Keep in mind that I shot most of the proposal in a corner of Common Grounds between two wooden benches, a fence, and behind some seat cushions. Keith and Kerry arrived after the sun had set and the main source of light we had was coming from the CG stage thanks to Mark Bower who managed to ghetto-rig one of the lights to face the chair Kerry sat in. You will notice the light in some of the pics – though small, it gave the sweet rim light around the love birds. Then I flash edited the pics in 30 min during the engagement party so we could show the parents. I am so thankful we got the images we did even under such non-ideal shooting conditions. Yay for love!

Melanie was married this past week so now I can share her bridals with you! Melanie was so graceful just trying to carry her dress through the garden.

Melanie’s mom was so sweet during the shoot – she barely got through the bridals, thankfully she did great at the wedding!

Oh yeah, and it was so outrageously windy during Mel’s shoot we had to end early. She did very well despite the crazy veil terrorizing her hair and lip gloss.

Mark and Anna were married at UBC in Waco, Texas on a night filled with surprises. Two of these surprises included all of the power going out about 10 minutes after their ceremony ended and me falling off the stage in the dark. It was a night to remember! Really, though, the wedding was lovely. All of the details were perfectly Anna.

The bride and groom decided to see each other before the wedding. We arranged for them to meet in a private room of the church.

This makes them a) incredible and b) smart as getting fun pictures with their wedding party away from the church was something Mark and Anna wanted. We went down to Cameron Park and the suspension bridge for these pics.

Because they had alotted extra time in the schedule, we were able to spend a good amount of time taking pictures in the daylight. I love their whole set from downtown!

They had a sweet ceremony.

The evening ended with the reception at The Palladium in downtown Waco.

This adorable drawing was giving to the bride by one of her darling guests. I thought it was the perfect backdrop for this ring shot.
