Ken and Marla. Really, need I say more? I will though, for the blog’s sake. These two fine people are lucky enough to actually be related to Stephanie Johnson. If you do not know who Steph is, you can check out her blog here. She is a phenomenal person and a great writer. Anyways, Ken and Marla live in the eternal garden that is Austin, TX. This session was an anniversary gift to them from Steph. We took these first ones at their lovely home.

This is just a small part of a recent portrait session I did for Beth. I can not wait to show you more; for now, enjoy these from the afternoon.

Last week I had the incredible privledge of attending the Foundation Workshop 7 in Allen, TX. I was there as a volunteer thanks to the good graces of Huy Nguyen of f8studio in Dallas. The workshop is an intensive time for professional photographers to be challenged, stretched, and generally broken down so that they can improve.

Each and every person who attended is so talented and made the week an awesome experience. I hope to attend next year as a participant so that I too can get my be-hind kicked and crank out some revolutionary new images. Until then, I am runnning with the overload of information I gained by just listening. Below is a look at what the week was like. The video was thanks to Vladimir Chaloupka, a hugely talented photographer and videographer (not to mention a great guy). It was an honor to meet everyone and assist at this workshop, and I look forward to seeing you guys again in November!
