Will & Melanie
Friday, August 29, 2008

Congratulations Will & Melanie! If you can believe it – they met at the gym. These images were taken on the foundation of a structure that is being built into something new. I love this location for them as it is the perfect parallel of what is happening in their lives. Thanks for a great shoot guys – and for enduring the crazy winds!

Mel is rocking the Sandra Dee look from Grease:

You know I love drama

Morgan & Blake

Ooh don’t you just love spontinaeity? I shot this totally inpromptu photo session while visiting the kids I used to babysit in high school – yowzah! We decided to be 100% au-natural and no one chose outfits or fixed their hair. We just tumbled around the backyard and I shot pics of the kids in their element. These two had the overwhelming honor of my presence many a Friday night back in the day ;). I think we are all the better for it – ha! Without further ado, please meet Morgan and Blake:

His own pose:

Truly brother and sister

I love backyards!

If you are thinking about getting some fresh, delightful new family images for the holidays, September and October are the times to set up a session. This will ensure that all items are received by December 1st. We only take a limited number of families each year; shoot us an email and don’t miss out!

Heather & Steven
Wednesday, August 06, 2008

Heather and Steven had such a perfect wedding day! From salon to get away car everything was just as it should be. They were married at the Dallas Arboretum and let it be known that I LOVE to shoot weddings at the arboretum. If you are engaged I highly recommend checking it out. I have shot multiple weddings there, been a bridesmaid while it was freezing cold there, and even assisted at a wedding while it rained there; I still adore it and hope to be at many more weddings in those gardens. Here are some pics:

Grooms are people too! Lately I have been loving taking pics of groomsmen. Everyone just looks so good in those suits.

Get it ladies!

Recipe for a picture perfect wedding: green grass, blue sky, white chairs, and gorgeous flowers.

Just where a bride should be on her wedding day – in a garden

I about died of jealousy when I saw these bridesmaids dresses. They were *of course* from Anthropologie. Someone get me this dress quick!

A portrait:

The longest aisle a bride could ask for, but it was beautiful:

Jerry (my second shooter) was on fire at this wedding! This picture is the greatest:
